Senior Institutional Business Developer
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Execute the sales strategy as set by management and drive the process from originating new client opportunities and ensuring smooth rollout to successful commercialization.
- Identify, build, maintain and cultivate relationships with prospective and existing clients within the Institutional/B2B market
- Execute an organized, efficient, and structured sales process on the phone, face to face, and via social media
- Initiate and follow up on new business opportunities.
- Provide regular updates to the CSO and the Executive team to ensure that they are aware of Sales revenue generation and upcoming business
- Lead new business meetings and closes sales to institutional investors and consultants.
- Leverage OneRoyal’s relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
- Represent the company with external technology vendors
- Represent the company with social media (LinkedIn and Financial Press) in a positive manner
- Work and coordinate with various departments such as IT, Dealing and Operation to service clients’ needs.
- Work with Risk Management team to manage clients’ margin requirements and maintenance, while observing risk exposure with close monitoring
- Participate in the company’s marketing activities and work on a team level to identify new opportunities
- Provide feedback on customer demand and make recommendations to drive product innovation
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- Excellent sales skills and in-depth product knowledge
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Min 5-7 years’ experience with institutional clients. Institutional sales experience is preferred
- Proven track record of initiating, building, and maintaining clients and closing sales.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and in a result-oriented environment.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership to ensure a consistent, high quality client experience
- Strong negotiation skills with a high degree of commerciality.
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization
- Ability to focus and prioritize the key initiatives across a broad range of opportunities and relationships
